WeConnect Global is looking for a knowledgeable and professional HR Specialist to join our Human Resources team. The primary responsibility of an HR Specialist is to provide front-line, initial contact in WeConnect's multi-company hiring process. This includes achieving staffing objectives by recruiting and evaluating candidates and collaborating with all department managers for hiring needs. To be successful in this role, you should have a good understanding of full cycle recruiting and solid knowledge of HR functions.
Other job duties include, but are not limited to:
- Manage the full cycle of the recruitment process, including resume screening, conducting phone screens, participating in manager interviews, and completing background and reference checks.
- Update employee records with new hire information and/or changes in employment status.
- Maintain organizational charts and detailed job descriptions along with salary records.
- Forecast hiring needs and ensure recruitment process runs smoothly.
- Develop and implement HR policies throughout the organization.
- Respond to employee's queries and resolving issues in a timely manner.
- Stay up-to-date and comply with changes in labor legislation.
- Company paid premiums for Short-Term Disability, Life Insurance and Employee Assistance Program.

- This job requires at least a high school diploma or GED equivalent and 1-2 years of human resources administration experience. Preferred applicants have an Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a business-related field. SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP is a plus.
- Knowledge of principles and procedures for personnel recruitment, selection, training, compensation and benefits, labor relations and personnel information systems.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint in addition to recruitment related applications and employee tracking systems.
- Ability to report to and operate out of the office location daily.
- Willing to work flexible hours and overtime as needed.
Employment is contingent on successful completion of a pre-employment screen.
Salary Description
$20.00 - $23.00 per hour
