Scion Nonprofit Staffing, a full-service national staffing firm, has been engaged to conduct a search for a Temporary
Learning & Development Coordinator for a long-standing nonprofit in the
Belltown neighborhood ofSeattle, WA
4-6 months contract. Starts the last week of June.
Hybrid (3 days remote/2 day in office)
The
Learning & Development Coordinator
will be responsible for managing the logistics and administration of training programs, supporting both in-person and online learning initiatives. This role involves managing the Learning Management System (LMS), coordinating training events, tracking attendance, and maintaining learning resources. The ideal candidate will have excellent organizational skills, strong communication abilities, and a passion for employee development.
RESPONSIBILITIES :
Serve as the main administrator for the ADP Learning Management System.
Coordinate all logistical aspects of training sessions, including scheduling, booking venues, and managing calendars.
Ensure all training materials and equipment are prepared and available for training sessions.
In-person training session set up/tear down.
Track and record attendance for all training sessions.
Collect and analyze data related to training participation and effectiveness.
Maintain and update the Learning & Development SharePoint page.
Draft and send out communications regarding upcoming training sessions.
Conduct follow-up communications to gather feedback and reinforce learning.
Coordinate with supervisors to schedule training and follow up on trainee progress.
Monitor and manage the Learning & Development team mailbox.
Assign tasks and follow up on their completion.
Act as the point of contact for external training vendors.
Prepare agendas for L&D team meetings.
Take detailed notes during meetings and distribute them to the team.
QUALIFICATIONS :
2-3 yearsin Learning and Development or within a Human Resources Department.
Proficiency with Learning Management Systems (experience with ADP LMS is a plus).
Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint).
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:
The hourly rate for this role ranges between $30-$32hr. Benefits includemedical, dental, vision, voluntary life insurance, an employee assistance plan (EAP), and commuter and transit benefits for those who are working on average 30 or more hours per week.
