Plymouth Housing is a nonprofit organization that develops and operates permanent supportive housing for single adults who have experienced chronic homelessness. • Develop expertise in relevant subject areas, staying abreast of industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to continuously enhance training content and methodologies.
  • Collect feedback from participants to assess the effectiveness of training programs and make necessary improvements.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to recommend improvements to learning content.
  • Utilize Plymouth’s learning management system to organize, deliver, and track training activities and resources effectively.
  • Provide guidance and support to other trainers or internal subject matter experts.
  • Contribute to the continuous evaluation and refinement of training processes, methodologies, and materials.

REQUIREMENTS WE NEED FROM YOU

  • Effective leadership skills.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to leverage technology for training optimization.
  • Empathy and compassion.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to evaluate training effectiveness.
  • Ethical conduct and integrity.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in Education, Human Resources, Organizational Psychology, or a related field or equivalent and relevant work experience.
  • Certification in training facilitation (e.g., Train-the-Trainer programs, ATD Master Trainer, or specific training content) is a plus.
  • Proven experience as a Learning and Development Trainer or similar role, with a minimum of 3 years in delivering training programs.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of instructional design principles, adult learning theory, and training evaluation methodologies.
  • Strong facilitation skills with the ability to engage and inspire diverse audiences.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex information and build rapport with learners.
  • Proficiency in using learning management systems (LMS) or similar training tracking mechanisms, virtual facilitation tools, and other training technology platforms.
