Efficientsoftware development and machine learning teams make the most of their time by limiting the activities that take developers away from writing their code. That's why we need you, a Machine Learning (ML) Cloud and DevOps engineer, to help us shorten the time it takes to get critical tools developed and into the hands of our Agile developers creating AI products.

On our team, you'll help streamline oursoftware and ML development life cycle from requirements to monitoring in production. You'll incorporate open-source tools, automation, and cloud resources to cut down on tedious, boring tasks, and free up the team's developers to do what they do best - innovate. You'll work with the team to implement continuous integration and delivery to limit manual testing and troubleshooting.

This is an opportunity to build your experience in Cloud-Native Technologies, Infrastructure-as-Code, Pipelines, and Kubernetes while developing products that will support our agile teams to move faster and deliver more to those on the front lines. You Have:

  • 3+ years of experience in a dashboard development, infrastructure, MLOps, DevOps, software engineering, or application development role

  • Experience with natural language processing, deep learning, or computer vision project work

  • Experience with developing in Java, Python, C++, or Go

  • Experience with scripting in Bash, PowerShell, Python, Groovy, or Ruby

  • Knowledge of container networking, monitoring, and storage solutions

  • Ability to develop infrastructure-as-code, including activities around the automated server or network configurations, large-scale software deployments, or monitoring and testing, including continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD)

  • Secret clearance

  • Bachelor's degree

Nice If You Have:

  • 2+ years of experience with container tools, including Docker, Kubernetes, or Rancher

  • 2+ years of experience with deploying Kubernetes in a platform or cloud offering, including GCP, AWS, or Azure

  • Experience with Authority to Operate (ATO) processes for DoD operations

  • Experience with using or migrating continuous integration (CI) and continuous delivery (CD) pipeline solutions or tools, including GitLab

  • Experience with system integration using a variety of protocols, including JSON, REST, and XML

  • Knowledge of cloud and virtualization-based technologies, including Docker, Azure, or Amazon Web Services (AWS)

  • Knowledge of Linux or UNIX administration and automationand foundational system administration principles

  • Knowledge of classified environment processes and protocols

  • Kubernetes Certifications

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $75,600.00 to $172,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees. This posting will close within 90 days from the Posting Date.
