As an Accounting Technician at Archer Mechanical, your role is crucial to the seamless operation of our accounting department. You will be responsible for a variety of essential accounting functions, including payroll, accounts payable, credit card reconciliation, and other related tasks. Your attention to detail and proficiency in accounting principles will help ensure accuracy and efficiency in our financial processes. This position demands a high level of organization, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively within our team Responsibilities Essential Duties & Responsibilities: Payroll Management: ·Ensure all timecards are accurately updated and run payroll on a weekly basis. ·Review payroll documents for completeness and accuracy. ·Audit and maintain induvial employee benefits. ·Submit 401K & HSA on a weekly basis. Accounts Payable: ·Reconcile accounts payable statements as they are received. ·Enter invoices into Vista - Viewpoint (ERP). ·Set up and maintain vendor accounts. ·Review vendor documents for completeness. Credit Card Reconciliation: ·Review and reconcile credit card transactions as they occur. Employee Reimbursements: ·Prepare and process employee reimbursement requests in a timely manner. Administrative Support: ·Provide administrative support to the accounting department, assisting with various tasks as needed. ·Enroll employees into benefits. ·Update and manage employee demographics and data. Qualifications Ideal Qualifications: High school degree/GED and or Technical certifications or college degree. Has experience in accounts payable, payroll, and/or general accounting. Job Costing Experience. Proficient with Microsoft Office and Google Sheets. Possesses accurate data entry skills. Well-organized and able to work with others. Strong written and verbal communication abilities. Preferred experience with Vista - Viewpoint (ERP). Excel and Formula Skills.
