**Requirements**

Successful candidate must complete daily prep schedule, be knowledgeable of station assignments, plate presentations and preparations of all menus. Responsible for providing and maintaining high quality standards and procedures when preparing all food. Must be available to work a flexible schedule to include weekends and holidays. Two years previous experience preferred.

* Cooking of foods to order on demand.

* Preparing of miscellaneous food items as assigned.

* Requisitioning of necessary supplies.

* Maintain and strictly abide by state sanitation/health regulations and hotel requirements.

* Maintain complete knowledge of correct maintenance and use of equipment.

* Maintain complete knowledge of all department and hotel policies.

* Prepare all menu items following recipes and yield guides, according to department standards.

* Inform Sous Chef of any shortages before item runs out.

* Complete closing duties according to department standards.

* Report any safety, security or maintenance problem.

Ability to cook grilled foods. Ability to communicate successfully and maintain good interpersonal relations with coworkers. Ability to comprehend and adhere to written and verbal food orders. Ability to handle stress arising from demands of co-workers and production requirements. Ability to calculate. Ability to move kitchen equipment from one area of work site to another. Ability to remain at work site for entirety of shift. Frequent mobility throughout kitchen and food production outlets. Ability to clean, maintain, and operate essential equipment and kitchen area. Ability to perform job functions with attention to detail, speed and accuracy. Ability to prioritize, organize, and follow through. Ability to work well under pressure. Knowledge of all stations in the restaurant. Knowledge of plate presentations and preparations of all menu items.
