In addition to competitive pay, outstanding benefits, free gym membership, and other perks, joining our team connects you with all we have going on in our dynamic community.About the RoleThe Member Services Associate is a key part of our team Member Services team, responsible for ensuring outstanding service and fostering strong relationships with members and the broader community. This role is our primary point person who intakes and supports membership and customer service needs and issues. The role also supports the organization through effective communication and accurate database management to maintain the high standards of Touchstone Climbing & Fitness.Job duties include but are not limited to:Find and create creative solutions for customer service needs while honoring our customer service philosophy.Maintain customer service excellence and customer expectations while honoring and maintaining Touchstone Climbing's customer service philosophy.Maintain company inboxes and ticket system.Work collaboratively and efficiently with the Member Services DepartmentUpdate and maintain RPHQ databases from customer records to memberships, calendars, etcAssist in project-based assignmentsComplete reporting and maintenance projects for all databases.Update and maintain Redpoint HQ (RPHQ) tutorials and guides.Assist with basic RPHQ questions from staff and managementProcess pre-billing reports, issue late fees, process refunds, assist with chargebacksAssist with Access to Climbing: informing customers and assisting managers.Assist with Financial Support Memberships (FIN): informing customers, assisting managers, and completing interviews.Qualifications / Requirements:Strong communication skills: Customer service experience: Prior experience in a member service or similar role is a plus.Creativity.Detail-oriented: Organized and able to manage database systems accurately.Team player: Enthusiastic about working collaboratively across departments.Tech-savvy: Comfortable using computers and software for administrative tasks.Ability to work at multiple locations in the region, primary workplace will be at the Berkeley office.Courteous, professional, open, and receptive to constructive feedback.Enjoys learning new skills and is comfortable with the unknown.Travel Required:This role will primary sit in the Berkeley office, however, some travel to various gym locations may be required from time to timeCompensation and Benefits: Starting pay is$30.00 per hour.
