Key Responsibilities: Responsible for:

Understanding client requirements, creating proposals and solutions, and working on pre-qualification & Material submittals.

Driving cross-functional collaboration to ensure high-quality technical documents preparation.

Preparation of Technical Submittals, Technical letters, warranties, addressing consultants’ comments, etc.; and continuous update of licenses and certificates in the standard submittals template.

Updating new datasheets, third-party tests, test reports, and other relevant information necessary for the submittal.

Continuous update of the shared engineering folder (Project approvals, specifications, letters log, new ETA’s and Datasheets, etc.).

Renewal of Authorities Certification like ADCE, DEWA, ADCO approvals, and vendors list whenever necessary.

Providing telephone technical support for Clients requiring immediate attention.

Job Summary (Major functions of the position): Major functions:

Document Control, Preparing prequalification Submittals, Material Submittals, etc.

Tagging and organizing project samples.

Following up with suppliers for samples and submittals.

Collaborating with project managers to develop project plans and timelines.

Providing technical expertise and guidance to project teams.

Reviewing project specifications and ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.

Developing and reviewing method statements for construction activities.

Analyzing material submittals and ensuring compliance with project requirements.

Preparing compliance statements and documentation for regulatory approvals.

Conducting site inspections to assess construction progress and quality.

Preparing detailed inspection reports, documenting findings and recommendations.

Identifying and addressing any technical issues or discrepancies on-site.

Managing and responding to Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) issued from project sites.

Investigating root causes of non-conformances and implementing corrective actions.

Monitoring and tracking NCR resolutions to ensure timely closure.

Maintaining accurate project documentation, including technical drawings, reports, and correspondence.

Communicating effectively with project stakeholders, including clients, consultants, and subcontractors.

Managing and preparing the required submittals for client's approval.

Ensuring all departments are aware of the approved materials and have a track of the same.

Handing over approved materials to the project teams.

Coordinating with clients, consultants, and contractors.

Developing technical submittals, commercial submittals, tender documents, etc.

Conducting the preparation of proposals & Registration for Public/private sector clients.

Preparing technical standards and specifications for Steel Fabrication projects with respect to local and international standards and requirements.

Qualification: Working knowledge of English to read, write & understand MS, SS Material.

Experience: A minimum of 5 years in preparing pre-qualification & Material Submittals.
