Our client, a manufacturer of marking equipment located in Cranberry Twp, PA, is seeking a Regional Sales Manager to help drive sales and best serve their customers.Our client is a leading provider of cutting-edge laser, dot peen and scribe marking systems, catering to diverse industries such as manufacturing, automotive, aerospace, and electronics. Our innovative solutions empower businesses to achieve precision, efficiency, and traceability in their product marking processes. As they expand their market presence, we are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Regional Sales Manager to drive sales, foster strong customer relationships, and showcase the technical capabilities of their marking systems within the designated region.Responsibilities include:Sales Strategy and Execution: Develop and implement a strategic sales plan to achieve regional sales targets and business objectives for laser, dot peen and scribe systems. Identify and pursue new business opportunities while expanding relationships with existing clients. Conduct technical product demonstrations to showcase the features and benefits of the laser, dot peen and scribe marking systems. Collaborate with Business Development and Inside sales teams to drive the entire sales cycle from lead generation to closing deals. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing and technical support, to enhance overall customer satisfaction.Technical Expertise: Acquire and maintain in-depth knowledge of the laser, dot peen and scribe marking systems, staying current with product updates and technological advancements. Provide technical guidance to customers, addressing inquiries, and demonstrating the value proposition of solutions. Collaborate with the technical support team to ensure seamless post-sale integration and customer satisfaction.Market Analysis: Conduct thorough market research to identify key industry trends, competitive landscape, and potential customers. Analyze customer needs and market demands to adapt sales strategies and ensure a competitive edge.Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, understanding their unique requirements and providing tailored solutions. Act as a technical advisor, offering expert guidance on marking system applications and benefits.Sales Forecasting and Reporting: Prepare accurate sales forecasts and reports, providing regular updates to senior management on sales performance and market trends. Utilize Salesforce to track and manage customer interactions, sales activities, and pipeline progression.Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Marketing, or a related field. MBA is a plus. Proven track record of success in B2B sales, preferably in the industrial or manufacturing sector. Experience in selling capital equipment, industrial marking systems, or related technologies is highly desirable. Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and guide a sales team. Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. Strategic thinking and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
