Overview The SharePoint Developer will join an established AE Strategies team to support a Navy office located in the Washington, DC area. The Developer will be responsible for expanding the functionality and utilization of existing SharePoint sites within the organization. The successful incumbent will leverage their expertise in SharePoint development, along with PowerApps, to enhance existing workflows, automate processes, and potentially establish new SharePoint sites to meet evolving business needs.

Roles and Responsibilities SharePoint Site Enhancement:

Collaborate with stakeholders to understand requirements and identify opportunities for enhancing existing SharePoint sites. Implement customizations, configurations, and integrations to improve functionality, usability, and performance. PowerApps Development:

Utilize PowerApps to create custom solutions, forms, and workflows within SharePoint sites. Develop PowerApps applications to streamline business processes, enhance data collection, and improve user experience. Workflow Automation:

Design and implement automated workflows using SharePoint Designer or Power Automate (formerly Microsoft Flow). Automate routine tasks, approvals, notifications, and data processes to increase efficiency and productivity. User Training and Support:

Provide training and support to end-users on SharePoint functionalities, PowerApps usage, and best practices. Offer guidance and assistance to ensure effective utilization of SharePoint sites and applications. New SharePoint Site Setup:

Evaluate business requirements and recommend the setup of new SharePoint sites when necessary. Configure site structure, permissions, libraries, lists, and other components based on organizational needs. Collaboration and Documentation:

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, business analysts, and stakeholders, to gather requirements, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions. Document configurations, customizations, and processes for knowledge sharing and future reference. Continuous Improvement:

Stay updated with the latest SharePoint and Power Platform developments, features, and best practices. Proactively identify opportunities for process improvements, system enhancements, and innovation within SharePoint environments.

Requirements Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. Proven experience as a SharePoint Developer with a strong understanding of SharePoint architecture, capabilities, and best practices. Proficiency in PowerApps development, including designing canvas and model-driven apps, creating custom connectors, and integrating with SharePoint. Hands-on experience in configuring SharePoint sites, lists, libraries, workflows, and permissions. Familiarity with SharePoint Designer, Power Automate, and other Office 365 tools. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex requirements and translate them into technical solutions. Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities and deadlines effectively. Eligibility for Secret Clearance. US Citizenship.

Preferred Qualifications Microsoft certifications related to SharePoint and Power Platform. Experience with SharePoint Online and Office 365 services. Knowledge of JavaScript, CSS, and other web technologies for SharePoint customization. Experience with SharePoint migration projects and SharePoint Framework (SPFx) development.
