The Role

Reporting to the Business Intelligence Manager, we are seeking an experienced Data & Performance Analyst to join a high-functioning and motivated team in Perth. The purpose of this role is to support to the PROGRAMMED Facility Management W.A. contracts through utilisation in-depth technical knowledge of data and reporting solutions in a rapidly growing and changing environment.

Using modern strategies to gather, analyse and report on the operational performance of a variety of elements in the business the objective is to provide value to both internal and external stake holders through transformation of data into usable information. With a combination of regular repeatable tasks coupled with more challenging work associated with delivering solutions for ad hoc request, projects, and overall continuous improvement the role is a critical function within the Business Intelligence Team and

PFM business overall.

Key responsibilities

Definition, extraction, verification, and transformation of data from various source systems Utilise and enhance where possible current business system analysis and reporting solutions to create smart data models that effectively meet business needs Setting up automated processes for reporting outputs wherever possible Ensuring the quality and integrity of all data outputs by using rigorous testing and validation methods prior to release of any analysis or report Proactively identifying critical data issues in source system outputs and recommending improvements to source system data quality Communicating well with stakeholders when developing data reports and analysis; understanding and translating end user needs into effective data/modelling solutions Collaborates within the Business Intelligence Team to maximize data and reporting outcomes; uses technical skills to provide clever solutions to complex and/or difficult data/reporting problems Assists in defining new or better data collection and analysis processes Communicates complex ideas using clear language and easily understandable formats for end users and other stakeholders Develops and delivers essential routine data analysis Develops solutions to ad-hoc queries and project requirements as needed

Achieve agreed delivery timelines, quality and standards for tasks and responsibilities. Achieve agreed quality and completeness of data and information. Assist Manager, Business Intelligence to achieve operational, contractual and organisation targets. Positive working relationship with Contract team, internal and external stakeholders. Supports the company objective to provide reliable Big Data

Qualifications

Qualifications and Experience

Required - Graduate degree in IT or Data Science Required - Formal training/qualifications in data analysis techniques, data modelling, including statistical process control Desired – Post-graduate qualifications in relevant field

Experience

Undertaken planning and data verification Experience/Understanding in the management of large-array datasets. Undertaken technical coding and basic programming using R, Visual Basic, Mathlab, Python, C++ Experience of Microsoft Power Products such as Apps, Automate, AI, BI, Flow, SharePoint.
