Responsibilities:

  • General Ledger Management: Maintain and update the general ledger by posting and verifying financial transactions.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).
  • Account Reconciliation: Perform regular reconciliations of bank accounts, credit card statements, and other balance sheet accounts.
  • Accounts Payable & Receivable: Process accounts payable and receivable transactions, including invoicing, payments, and collections.
  • Journal Entries: Prepare and post journal entries for accruals, prepayments, and other adjustments.
  • Fixed Assets Management: Track and manage fixed assets, including depreciation calculations and asset disposals.
  • Audit Support: Provide support during internal and external audits by preparing necessary documentation and responding to auditor inquiries.
  • Financial Analysis: Conduct variance analysis to compare actual results to budget and provide insights on discrepancies.
  • Internal Controls: Assist in the development and implementation of internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure accuracy in financial reporting.
  • Special Projects: Participate in special projects and ad-hoc financial analysis as required.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or business related field. CPA or progress toward CPA certification is a plus.
  • Technical Skills: Advanced Excel skills. Familiarity with ERP systems is advantageous.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
  • Time Management: Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ethics & Integrity: High ethical standards and integrity in handling confidential and sensitive financial information.

Salary Range: $55K-$60K
