Role Overview

We are seeking a motivated entry-level Staff Accountant with up to two years of experience in public accounting to join our Investigative Accounting Group. Our firm offers a flexible, hybrid work model.

The majority of our projects involve collaborating with commercial property insurers to assess physical damage and business income losses incurred by businesses due to unforeseen events. Responsibilities may include reviewing and interpreting historical financial data, analyzing industry trends, projecting revenues and expenses, evaluating insurance claims, and assessing economic damages. This role provides exposure to a broad spectrum of industries, ranging from local retail establishments to multinational corporations.

We are looking for candidates who are eager to embrace long-term career opportunities in accounting and possess a genuine interest in forensic accounting and litigation support services. Successful candidates are typically outgoing, self-driven, possess strong analytical and communication skills, and appreciate a diverse array of work experiences and challenges.

Qualifications and Skills

To qualify for this position, candidates should:
  • Hold a Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Accounting or Finance
  • Demonstrate intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word
  • Be willing to travel overnight as necessary (approximately 10%)
