Every design choice is made toward one goal - delivering high-performance buildings that ensure occupant comfort and safety, keep energy/operating costs low, maximize client profitability, and protect the environment.Project ManagementDocuments project correspondence, issues, decisions and directions.Learns and follows McKinstry Engineering standards and procedures.Contributes to tasks on multiple projects and timelines concurrently.Manages own workload to deliver assigned tasks on time and in the budget.Identifies training, coaching, and support needed to complete assigned tasks.DesignCompetent in plumbing systems design, including calculations, pipe materials, equipment selection and multi-discipline coordinationPerforms engineering calculations, design, and drafting tasks.Produces design drawings and building information models for construction.Pursues an understanding of the technical foundation of design activities and decisions.What You Need to Succeed at McKinstry4-6 years experience in a related field.
