PROJECT ENGINEER/FIELD ENGINEER – COMMERCIAL CONSTRUCTION

As a Project Engineer/Field Engineer, you'll play a key role in supporting the successful execution of construction projects from start to finish—covering initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, control, and closure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure project site security and compliance with safety procedures in line with OSHA and company guidelines.
  • Support the Project Superintendent in documenting and implementing best management practices and any changes.
  • Participate in preconstruction and project startup activities.
  • Assist the Project Superintendent and Project Manager with verifying installations, scheduling manpower and materials, and ensuring timely arrivals to meet project deadlines.
  • Ensure compliance with local codes and project requirements.
  • Provide daily reporting and documentation of project activities.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field is preferred (equivalent experience will be considered).
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze information effectively.
  • Proven ability to manage client relationships, respond promptly to customer needs, and meet service commitments.
  • Excellent time management, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Adaptability in handling changing work environments, managing competing demands, and responding to delays or unexpected events.
  • Strong understanding of safety procedures and proper equipment usage.
  • Exceptional verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively as part of a team.
  • Must be willing to travel.
