Job Summary:

* Ensures accuracy of entries to ledger accounts and reconciles subsidiary ledger accounts to the general ledger * Maintains financial records and ensures transactions are properly recorded * Prepare journal entries and month-end reconciliations and account analysis * Review expense reports for compliance and reconcile the Travel/Purchase clearing accounts * Conducts periodic reviews and audits of purchase orders and purchases * Participate in the annual budget process, perform variance analysis, resolve discrepancies * Experience working with multiple contracting formats, including cost-reimbursable, T&M, and Firm-Fixed-Price preferred * Knowledge of FAR/DFARS and other government regulations required * Compliance with company policies and procedures * Ability to work comfortably in a team environment, multi-task, and support concurrent requirements for different internal and external customers * Demonstrated proficiency with Excel and Word, Unanet experience a plus * Minimum bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance plus 5 years experience in government accounting, and large corporation experience * Review all vendor invoices for appropriate documentation and approvals prior to payment

CMA or CPA preferred
