Position Type: Full-Time
Salary Range: $31.25 To $38.47 Hourly

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure the precision of ledger account entries and reconcile subsidiary ledgers with the general ledger.
  • Maintain financial documentation and confirm that transactions are accurately recorded.
  • Prepare journal entries along with month-end reconciliations and account analyses.
  • Review expense reports for adherence to compliance and reconcile clearing accounts.
  • Conduct regular reviews and audits of purchase orders and acquisitions.
  • Engage in the annual budgeting process, perform variance analyses, and resolve discrepancies.
  • Familiarity with various contracting formats, including cost-reimbursable, T&M, and Firm-Fixed-Price is preferred.
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively in a team setting, manage multiple tasks, and support various internal and external clients.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Excel and Word; experience with Unanet is a plus.
  • Review all vendor invoices for proper documentation and approvals prior to processing payments.
  • Perform other duties as assigned or required.
Qualifications and Experience:

Required:
  • Understanding of FAR/DFARS and other government regulations is essential.
  • 2-5 years of experience in government accounting and experience with large corporations.
Desired:
  • CMA or CPA certification is preferred.
Security Clearance:
Must be eligible to obtain a Secret clearance, which requires U.S. Citizenship and a security investigation.

Education:
A minimum of a bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, accompanied by 2-5 years of relevant experience.
