About the Team:
VIZIOs Technology Software and Services team is seeking a QA project manager to join their growing team. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work together within the team and contribute to innovate VIZIO products.
What You Will Do:- Test & resource planning
- Device management for QA team
- Cross-team communication (engineering, PMO, product etc...)
- Establish and maintain processes for managing scope during the project lifecycle, setting quality and performance standards and assessing risks
- Completed high school diploma or GED
- 5+ years professional software engineering project management experience
- Highly proficient in QA testing methodologies & practices
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Experience collecting data & presenting to multiple levels of management
- Experience collaborating with software engineering teams on a technical level
- Experience working with product and program teams on project specifications & delivery
- Experience with device management & inventory tracking
- Experience working in an AGILE development environment. Familiarity with confluence, Jira, test case management tools.
- Demonstrates creativity and initiative in improving test coverage and effectiveness
- Bonus points for any background with Smart TV/Soundbar technology, knowledge of video streaming protocols and associated technologies (DRM), Wi-Fi, HDMI/CEC & Bluetooth
