Responsibilities
Structural analysis, design and basic detailing for various types of buildings and materials using applicable building codes.
Coordination of design work with in-house staff as well as other design professionals including Architects and other Engineering disciplines
Assist in preparation of the construction documents and other discipline’s coordination.
Effectively communicate with the Principal-In Charge, Project Manager and Engineer, and other design team members.
Sufficient knowledge and proficiency with basic engineering software.
Qualifications
2+ years of experience designing various structural engineering projects.
Master’s degree in structural engineering is preferred; undergraduate degree from an ABET accredited engineering school is
required .
Professional Civil Engineer license is preferred; EIT Certification is
required .
Experience with basic engineering software.
