The perfect candidate will possess intellectual curiosity, enthusiasm, strategic problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and self-motivation, backed by a robust background in compliance and some technology experience . You will work closely with legal and compliance subject matter experts to develop, manage and implement a strategy for meeting the business objectives compliantly . The **Director of Global Marketplace Compliance** plays an essential role of ensuring regulatory compliance is satisfied as the Walmart business expands its presence within the Global Marketplace. **What you'll do ...** • Partner with the business to deliver a gainst global marketplace initiatives • Coordinate across Compliance and Legal to execute ensure global marketplace initiatives meet regulatory and legal requirements • Develop and implement a strategy that ensures that the business initiatives satisf y the pillars of a n effective compliance program • Collaborate with Walmart Technology and Compliance subject matter experts to implement technology necessary for an effective compliance program • Draft policies and standards that define process and control guidelines necessary to implement compliant global marketplace initiatives • Lead a high-performing team, fostering a culture of candor, mutual trust, and shared vision, and consistently achieving exceptional results • Identify potential risks and communicate them to leadership promptly. **What you'll bring ...** • Organized, disciplined, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously • Effective communication with the ability to interact with senior leadership and internal and external stakeholders • Experience building cross-functional teams within a corporate environment • Proven experience in a similar role, ideally within a large scale, complex organization • Excellent leadership and team management skills • Project management expertise • Ability to identify risks and implement mitigation strategies • Proficiency using technology to implement effective compliance programs The above information has been designed to indicate the general nature and level of work performed in the role.
