GenAlpha Technologies is an industry leading provider of digital commerce solutions for original equipment manufacturers, distributors and aftermarket parts organizations. We are seeking an experienced team lead to join our organization. In this role, you will be responsible for managing multiple scrum teams within our offshore development division, closely collaborating with three team leads to ensure that our development work meets project requirements, including performance, security, and user experience. Effective communication and coordination with remote and offshore teams will be crucial to success in this position.

You will also play a pivotal role in systems architecture discussions, advocating for best practices and process improvements across our distributed teams. Additionally, you will oversee testing and quality assurance processes, ensuring readiness for release by coordinating efforts between onshore and offshore teams.

In addition to these responsibilities, we are looking for someone with a strong desire to learn new technologies that may be integrated into our solution. You should possess strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and interact with customers.

Key Role Requirements

Minimum of 5 years of hands-on development experience, covering backend to frontend, with a willingness to learn new programming languages.

Strong leadership skills demonstrated by the ability to lead remote and offshore teams effectively.

Extensive knowledge of software development methodologies and best practices.

Experience with agile development processes and sprint planning and execution.

Familiarity with UX best practices and experience with Java, AWS Services, and Microsoft SQL Server are considered strong assets.

Strong communication skills, adept at effectively engaging with multilingual team members.

Authorization to work in the United States.

Located in the Brookfield, WI area.This will primarily be a remote role, with opportunities to collaborate in-person with GenAlpha team members.
