Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Healthcare Project Manager to lead strategic initiatives within our healthcare organization. The successful candidate will play a vital role in overseeing the planning, execution, and delivery of healthcare projects, ensuring they meet quality standards, budgetary constraints, and timelines. This position requires strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills, as well as a deep understanding of healthcare industry standards and regulations.
Minimum Requirements:
8 years of Project Management Experience for large-scale Enterprise Implementations.
8 years of State of Texas or Similar Federal/State Project Management Experience.
8 years of Development Experience.
Preferred Skills:
5 years of State of Texas Project Delivery Framework Experience.
4 years of PMP Certification.
3 years of Agile (Scrum) Experience.
2 years of Salesforce Experience.
1 year of State Procurement and Contracting Experience.
1 year of Jira Experience.
Responsibilities:
Oversee the redesign of the benefits fraud, waste, and abuse case management application, ASOIG, for the Office of the Inspector General (OIG).
Implement standard project management industry practices for Agile Teams.
Understand the PMI framework and establish project organization and methodology within Agile (Scrum) organizations.
Work closely with multiple key project stakeholders to understand business and technical objectives.
Communicate effectively to clients and IT teams, creating project charters, work plans, and other related project artifacts as necessary.
Provide technical support both during work hours and on-call as necessary.
Comprehend and communicate complex technical designs, implementations, and business processes.
Develop and make presentations as required to leadership and oversight entities.
Serve in an analyst capacity as required.
Tasks and Assignments:
Oversee design and development work.
Manage the project with feature-driven Agile methodology, ensuring alignment with project timelines.
Develop and manage project plans.
Document risks, issues, and contingency plans; ensure resolution of issues and removal of project barriers.
Provide weekly status updates (written and verbal) and conduct regular project team status meetings.
Oversee the development of SDLC artifacts, ensuring business requirements are translated into technical specifications.
Develop and maintain solid relationships with project sponsors and stakeholders.
Transfer working knowledge to current staff.
