Job Summary: The house manager maintains a caseload of Intellectual Developmentally Disabled individuals living in the home. The house manager is an advocate for the individual's wants and needs. Responsibilities include monitoring progress towards goals, participating in meetings, liaising with family members and community resources, conducting staff training, and more.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Advocate for individual's wants and needs at the home.
- Participate in the individual's meetings (ISP, SIS, etc).
- Monitor progress towards goals and update electronic health records.
- Communicate with stakeholders to ensure individual's needs are met.
- Complete incident reports and follow-ups as necessary.
- Assist individuals with scheduling and attending appointments.
- Perform on-call duties as needed.
- High School diploma or GED required.
- Bachelor's Degree preferred.
- At least one year's experience in mental health or substance use disorder field preferred.
- Must pass background investigation, drug screen, and have a clean 7-year motor vehicle report.
- Bi-Lingual abilities are a plus.
