Performs highly complex (senior-level) accounting work. Work involves preparing and/or overseeing the preparation of financial analyses and reports; establishing, maintaining, and/or overseeing accounting systems, procedures, and controls; and preparing and/or overseeing the preparation of agency budgets. May supervise the work of others. Works under limited supervision, with considerable latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment. Assist in training contract management to new staff. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Knowledge of fiscal programs, governmental accounting, budget control methods, policies and procedures, and laws and regulations pertaining to financial grants and contracts. Excellent capabilities with word processing and advanced excel spreadsheets. Ability to interpret and apply accounting theory, to plan and coordinate financial programs, to plan procedures and coordinate accounting operations, to interpret laws and regulations, to communicate effectively and to train others. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. Ability to audit general journal entries and payment, cash, purchase, travel, and related vouchers. Develops, coordinates, or produces complex reports for monitoring and reporting agency financial information.

Regular, predictable attendance is considered to be an essential requirement for this position. Other duties may be assigned. May require a flexible work schedule. Education: Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university; major in Accounting. License: Current and valid driver's license and a clean driving record. Experience: Minimum of five years related experience in accounting and financial operations. Experience and education may be substituted for one another. Hours:

Full-Time. Workhours:

8:00AM-5:00PM.

Workdays:

Monday-Friday.

Salary:

$92,054 annually.
