Centurion is proud to be a leading provider of comprehensive healthcare services to correctional facilities, state hospitals, and community mental health centers nationwide.
We are currently seeking a Contract Compliance Monitor to join our team located in our Regional Office located in Boise, Idaho. Remote/hybrid work may be an option.
The compliance monitor assists the company contract performance management program functions, including but not limited to; monitoring and auditing activities, developing policies and practices to ensure and maintain compliance with federal, state, local regulatory, contractual and legal requirements. Additionally, duties include assisting legal, clinical operations and all departments with a variety of risk management activities to promote improved day-to-day operations of the program through performance improvement initiatives.
Responsibilities:
- Directly responsible for assisting site leadership and clinical personnel with performance improvement initiatives
- Establish and maintain positive relationships with client partners, contract monitors, and attorneys
- Identifies issues of concern, systematic problems, and opportunities for improvements in healthcare practices and policies.
- Analyze and create spreadsheets, narrative reports, graphs and charts to further increase contract compliance requirements
- Work with the EMR team and Compliance Data Analyst to develop reports to improve monitoring.
- Conduct in-service meetings that educate staff on the ability to identify areas for improvement as needed
- Relevant compliance functions that serve to improve site and contract level performance
- Maintain an ethical commitment to ensure confidentiality within the limits of a correctional environment
- Ensure compliance with all facility and Company policies, Federal and State laws, regulations, and guidelines including HIPAA
- Attends meetings as required
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Associates or Bachelor's degree in Health Care Administration, Health Science, Business Administration, or equivalent work experience is preferred
- Prior experience in healthcare, or mental health preferred
- Must have ability to effectively communicate in writing and orally with staff and institutional administration
- High level computer knowledge; ability to input, retrieve, manipulate, analyze and interpret data
- Demonstrated computer proficiency in Microsoft Office, Power Point, and Excel required
- Must be able to pass background investigation and obtain agency security clearance where applicable
