Job Overview:

The Construction Project Manager will oversee all aspects of construction projects in compliance with California's stringent standards, from planning to implementation. They will ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction management, excellent communication skills, leadership skills, and a passion for delivering exceptional results.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and manage construction projects in compliance with California's regulations from start to finish
  • Develop project plans, including scope, budget, and schedule, ensuring adherence to local requirements
  • Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure compliance with California's building codes and environmental regulations
  • Monitor progress and ensure that projects are on track, addressing any compliance issues that arise
  • Resolve any issues or delays that arise during construction in accordance with California standards
  • Ensure that all work is completed to the highest quality standards and in compliance with California's safety regulations
  • Manage project budgets and ensure that costs are kept within budget, including compliance-related costs
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and codes, including those specific to California
  • Provide regular updates to senior management on project progress, highlighting compliance achievements and challenges
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and other stakeholders, emphasizing our commitment to compliance and quality
  • Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field
  • At least 5 years of experience in construction project management, with a strong understanding of California's compliance standards. Must have experience with new build construction.
  • Strong knowledge of California's construction methods, materials, and regulations
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to navigate complex compliance requirements
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring compliance at every stage
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with a focus on finding compliant solutions
  • Proficiency in project management software, with a focus on tracking compliance metrics
