Data Analyst - Markets New York, NY **Hybrid** Contract $75/hr - $80/hr Grow your career with an innovative global bank in New York, NY as a Data Analyst. Contract role with strong possibility of extension. Will require working a hybrid schedule 2-3 days onsite per week. Will be an integral part of the team, responsible for pulling together data, providing analysis & remediation, assist with some data automation and other BAU tasks. Will closely collaborate with Risk Technology partners to ensure the successful execution of Risk Completeness deliverables. Will also play a part in UAT testing and work with partners in Risk and Finance. You will work alongside some of the smartest minds in the industry who are excited to share their knowledge and to learn from you. Contract Duration: 12+ Months **Required Skills & Experience** + Bachelor’s/University degree. + 3-5+ years of experience in Data Analysis and project execution within a Front Office. + Must have strong experience with data extraction, data manipulation, data remediation and issue management. + Experience in working with technology partners to execute business requirements. + Strong experience with data analytics using SQL. + Ability to create/enhance data processes, ideally using some Python/VBA. + Experience with UAT including creating test scripts. + Strong MS Office including strong Excel skills, generating graphs to be used in PowerPoint presentations. + Experience using Jira. **Desired Skills & Experience** + Finance industry experience. + Understanding of Capital Markets risk management including pricing of asset classes, equities, commodities, etc.. **What You Will Be Doing** + Construct detailed target operating models, business plans and test scripts by working with stakeholders and ensuring consistency with technology partners. + Produce Front Office risk transformation POC's across businesses to understand and manage edge cases. + Identify Risks & Issues and proactively seek to resolve or escalate them in a timely and well-articulated manner. + Lead/participate in working groups with stakeholders and technology partners to manage the delivery within the agreed timeline(s). + Manage issues around controls exceptions and track the remediation processes. + Produce weekly/monthly metrics on exception results. + Produce accurate and insightful project update materials and artifacts, tailoring to various forums, committees, and newsletters. + Build strong relationships, adopting a joined up approach, to support the execution of project. + Support the business through UAT, end to end and production parallel testing. **You will receive the following benefits:** + Medical Insurance - Four medical plans to choose from for you and your family + Dental & Orthodontia Benefits + Vision Benefits + Health Savings Account (HSA) + Health and Dependent Care Flexible Spending Accounts + Voluntary Life Insurance, Long-Term & Short-Term Disability Insurance + Hospital Indemnity Insurance + 401(k) including match with pre and post-tax options + Paid Sick Time Leave + Legal and Identity Protection Plans + Pre-tax Commuter Benefit + 529 College Saver Plan Motion Recruitment Partners is an Equal Opportunity Employer, including Veterans/Disability/Women.
