CloudAssist is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Microsoft Compliance Specialist to join our team. As a Microsoft Compliance Specialist, you will be responsible for planning and implementing policies that meet organizational information protection and governance requirements by utilizing Microsoft 365 information protection services. In this role, you will collaborate with various stakeholders to translate information protection requirements into technical implementation and evaluate IT processes and operations against policies and controls. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of regulatory requirements and the ability to create policies and rules for content classification, data loss prevention, governance, and protection. The Microsoft Compliance Specialist plans and implements controls that meet organizational information protection and governance requirements by using Microsoft 365 information protection services. This person is responsible for translating information protection requirements and controls into technical implementation. They assist information technology (IT) personnel, business application owners, human resources, and legal stakeholders in implementing technology solutions that support the policies and controls necessary to sufficiently address regulatory requirements for their organization. They also work with the security and governance leadership, such as a chief compliance officer, chief data officer, and security officer, to evaluate the full breadth of associated enterprise risk and partner to develop those policies. This person defines applicable requirements and evaluates IT processes and operations against those policies and controls. They are responsible for creating policies and rules for content classification, data loss prevention, governance, and protection. Skill Requirements

Well-organized, self-starter that can work independently with minimal direction. Effective time management skills including the ability to multi-task, organize and prioritize. Abilityto research and grasp technical information across multiple tools whilst interacting with the customer. Proven track record of being incredibly resourceful in identifying customer challenges. Be comfortable with change, particularly supporting an evolving product suite. Possess a desire to be a Customer Champion though customer empathy and advocacy. Prioritises communication and presentation skills with the ability to effectively adjust language to the target audience (CFO, CEO,IT, Operationsetc.) Study or Degree in an IT related field or have a CompTIA A+ Security Certification. We require that the candidate has a quiet and professional workspace with a locked door High-speed internet service (25 MB download and 5 MB upload) from a reliable provider. Successful completion of a pre-employment assessment and background check. CloudAssist Academy

CloudAssist will provide the accepted candidate with hands-on training to advance towards specialisation in the Microsoft Purview Compliance suite. The candidate will have access to a resource centre providing the latest in learning materials around the Microsoft Suite, in addition to exam preparation guides. Furthermore, the candidate will receive mentoring in delivering live workshops to clients, private and governmental, on features and implementation of Microsoft Compliance solutions. The two centrepiece exams the candidate will train for, initially, with a view to accreditation, are the SC-900 (Security, Compliance, and Identity Fundamentals) and SC-400 (Information Protection Administrator Associate) exams. Exam vouchers will be provided by CloudAssist for the selected candidate to sit and complete these exams, qualifying their expertise.
