Job Duties:
  • Responsible for the design, install, commission, validation, and start-up of manufacturing process systems for ingredient preparation, liquid processing, CIP, spray drying, dry blending, powder handling, retort processing, and aseptic processing.
  • Ensures compliance of process parameter and operational condition with USDA and FDA regulations.

Skills:
* At least 1 year experience, applying engineering knowledge in Food or Pharma environment.
* A Mechanical or Chemical Engineering degree preferred.
* Familiarity with plant control software, including PLC / HMI and SCADA systems.
* Familiarity with liquid aseptic processing/filling in the food industry.
* Experience with powder processing and wet mixing in the food industry.
* Experience with engineering project management.
* Has a technical background in health care, nutritional products, or similar industries (preferred).

Education:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Chemical or Mechanical).
  • Some travel may be required.
  • Manager will consider a Manufacturing Engineer, Validation Engineer, or Electrical Engineer, but has to have required experience in Food or Pharma.
  • Manager would like to see someone with Aseptic background.
