You will help lead our internal communications in multiple facets and will provide overall assistance to the HR department and company by playing a key supporting role in helping improve culture and engagement as well as the overall employee experience.
This role provides an opportunity for someone with foundational HR, communication and/marketing experience to branch out into a variety of daily challenges and tasks.
This is a full-time / in-office position located at our main office in Mendota Heights, MN.
Key Responsibilities
Create and implement internal communication strategies that effectively promote the organization, including website management, content development, articles, presentations, and videos.
Build connections with outside organizations to expand our recruiting efforts.
Attend career fairs and other recruiting events.
Support HR with a variety of duties including pre-employment, orientations, and more.
Manage and maintain branding and presence on BR social media platforms.
Develop and execute initiatives to promote a positive workplace culture.
Organize and facilitate employee appreciation, teambuilding and volunteering efforts and events.
Manage event planning efforts of all sizes, including logistics, catering, audio visual, etc.
Collect and analyze data to evaluate event success and make improvements for future events.
Additional duties and projects as the position develops and grows.
Required Experience/Education:
Bachelors' degree in HR, Communications, Marketing, or closely related field, preferred
Familiarity with social media platforms from a business perspective
Excellent verbal and written communication
Strong presentation skills
Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
Understands the importance of branding, consistency, creativity, and innovation.
Creative mindset and great attitude
Construction industry knowledge a plus
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
Experience in digital/ social media creation and presence.
