Office Manager and Accounts Payable Support

Spherion is seeking an organized and proactive Office Manager who will play a key role in maintaining the smooth operation of our office while also supporting our accounts payable function. The ideal candidate will have a blend of administrative and financial skills, ensuring that office activities run efficiently and that financial processes are handled accurately and timely.
Responsibilities:
Oversee daily office operations and maintain a productive work environment.
Manage office supplies and inventory, ensuring all necessary materials are available.
Coordinate office maintenance and liaise with vendors for repairs and services.
Organize and schedule meetings, events, and travel arrangements for staff.
Serve as the point of contact for internal and external communications.
Implement and improve office procedures to enhance efficiency.
Assist in processing vendor invoices, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
Maintain and reconcile accounts payable records, tracking outstanding payments and expenses.
Collaborate with the finance team to ensure timely payment of invoices.
Address vendor inquiries and resolve discrepancies related to payments and invoices.
Support month-end closing processes by providing necessary documentation and reports.
Working hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Education:
Bachelors
Experience:
1-4 years
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field preferred.
3+ years of experience in office management or a similar role.
Basic knowledge of accounts payable processes and financial systems.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and accounting software (e.g., Sage 50(Peachtree), SAP).
Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
