Position Overview:
We are seeking a talented Associate Attorney to join our team. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting our family law practice by providing comprehensive legal assistance on a range of complex matters. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated attorney to grow their career in a supportive and collaborative environment while making a meaningful difference in the lives of our clients. This position is a hybrid position and does allow flexibility for some remote work.
Family Law Associate Key Responsibilities:
Provide legal representation and counsel to clients in various family law matters.
Manage a caseload of family law cases from inception to resolution, including drafting pleadings, motions, and legal documents.
Attend court hearings, trials, and other legal proceedings on behalf of clients.
Negotiate settlements and agreements between parties, striving to achieve the best possible outcomes for clients.
Conduct legal research to support case strategies and arguments.
Maintain regular communication with clients to provide updates on case progress and address their concerns.
Collaborate with other attorneys, paralegals, and support staff within the firm to effectively handle cases.
Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and court rules.
Stay informed about developments in family law and participate in continuing legal education to enhance professional knowledge and skills.
Qualifications:
Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
Strong legal research and writing skills.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
