Berman & Simmons, P.A is seeking a skilled and dedicated Associate Attorney to join our team of experienced Trial Attorneys. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for conducting research, analysis, and writing, as well as participating in the preparation of cases for mediations, hearings, and trials.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and detail-oriented individual to work with our team of lead Trial Attorneys. You will have the chance to develop your skills and expertise in the areas of personal injury, sex abuse survivor, and medical malpractice cases.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct research and analysis to support case development
  • Write and edit legal documents, including pleadings and briefs
  • Participate in the preparation of cases for mediations, hearings, and trials
  • Work with expert witnesses and participate in court proceedings
  • Develop and maintain a strong understanding of tort law and trial practice
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • Excellent academic credentials
  • Strong research and writing skills
  • Experience as a practicing attorney (preferably 1-3 years)
  • A strong interest in the intellectual aspects of tort law and trial practice
