We are seeking a talented Litigation Associate to support our litigation practice by providing comprehensive legal assistance on a range of complex litigation matters. This position offers an excellent opportunity for professional growth and the chance to work on high-profile cases under the guidance of experienced attorneys.

• Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to support litigation strategy and case preparation.
• Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents with precision and attention to detail.
• Assist in the preparation of discovery requests, responses, and related documents.
• Review and analyze documents, evidence, and deposition transcripts to inform case strategy.
• Participate in case strategy meetings and provide input on case management.
• Assist with deposition preparation and conduct legal research on deposition topics.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys and partners on case strategy and client communication.
• Attend court proceedings, hearings, and trials as required.
• Maintain organized case files and documentation.
• Stay abreast of legal developments, case law, and industry trends relevant to litigation practice areas.

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the Bar in the State of Maine.
• 2-5 years of experience in litigation practice.
• Strong legal research and writing skills.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Commitment to professionalism, integrity, and client service excellence.

• Previous experience in trial preparation and courtroom advocacy.
• Prior experience working in a law firm environment.
