This Estimating/Dispatcher Assistant position pay range is $20-$23/hr depending on experience. A DAY IN THE LIFE OF AN ESTIMATOR/DISPATCHER ASSISTANT

As our assistant estimator, most of your day is spent in an office environment on the phone or computer.

Essential responsibilities:

Pricing invoices Ordering material Dispatch service calls to field technicians Preparing quotes/requesting increases on jobs Meeting report deadlines Researching labor and material costs Review documents, specifications, and demands to understand scope of work Follow up on status of submitted quotes and ordered material Qualifications for our Estimator/Dispatcher Assistant

HS diploma, or GED equivalent, is required Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required 3 years' experience in estimating and/or dispatching, preferably in the home service industry (plumbing) Related experience and/or advanced training or any equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted Computer literate and must be able to use general office machines and know the geographical territory Strong interpersonal skills are required Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Must be self-motivated and punctual Experience gathering data information and inputting the information into the computer Must be available to work on call after hours/weekend on a rotating schedule

WORK SCHEDULE

This position works a schedule of 7 am- 4 pm, with a 1-hour lunch, two paid 15 minutes and on call after hours/weekends as needed.
