Monday, July 22, 2024 Purpose Responsible for the replenishment, forecasting, and flow of goods from supplier to store for department. Leads the Supply Chain team to ensure effective flow of product from Supplier to Shelf and ensure all Company Financials goals are met in relation to Sales, Margin, Shrink, Inventory DOS, In-stock, and EBITDA. Responsibilities Develop the inventory days of supply strategy to achieve the Sales, Margin and Inventory Turn goals across the DC network. Partner with Retail Operations to ensure all issues and exceptions are resolved in a timely manner. Accountable for the creation and management of all Purchase orders and stock transfers (DC and Store). Collaborate with the merchandising team to ensure effective flow of product to achieve desired sell through and margin targets. Ensure maximum freshness/date coding is delivered to the customer through efficient monitoring and actions taken to deliver expected targets. Collaborate with the logistics division to ensure timely flow of goods while maximizing efficiencies and minimizing logistics and transportation costs. Lead product flow optimization analysis, inventory balancing, monitor/ prioritize inbound shipments, and review in stock performance. Analyze forecast accuracy to identify opportunities to improve. Lead Process & System improvements related to replenishment activities. Manage vendor performance and escalate to merchandising as needed. Collaborate with vendors to proactively prevent any service level issues. Responsible for the training and development of the Supply Chain team to ensure all policies, procedures and day to day operations are delivered. Lead the Supply Chain team, establishing performance goals to ensure corporate goals are met. Performs all related assignments and special projects as assigned by the VP of Supply Chain. About You Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience, MBA preferred. 5-7 years Supply Chain, Replenishment, and/or Procurement experience required. Minimum of three years previous management experience. Experience with Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP), Integrated Business Planning (IBP), and/or Collaborative Planning, Forecasting, and Replenishment (CPFR) preferred. Expertise in Replenishment/ Inventory Management systems. Expertise in Perishables and/or Grocery preferred. Strong analytical and administrative skills. Strong interpersonal and negotiating skills. Strong leadership and communications skills. Critical thinking skills. Operational and Strategic thought processes required. Excellent verbal and written communication skills with ability to communicate effectively with all levels of management. Must have the ability to represent the Company's interests to outside professionals and vendors. Physical Requirements Ability to travel up to ~10% of the time, which may include weekends and evenings, as needed. Most work is performed in a temperature-controlled environment. Incumbent may sit for extended periods of time at a desk or computer terminal. Incumbent may use calculators, keyboards, telephone, and other office equipment in the course of a normal workday.
