Based in the Headquarters of Safran USA (Irving, Texas), the Financial Analyst will be working directly with the Head of Controlling/Director of Finance to manage and improve the controlling for Safran USA and some other legal entities managed by the finance department. KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY Supervised by the Director of Finance, the Financial Analyst will participate in the annual internal control campaign (with the objective of leading it in 2025) and will maintain and update procedures in compliance with audit requirements and enforce the application of procedures in the companies under her/his responsibilities. The Financial Analyst will assist on the monthly closing tasks of Safran USA and Safran French Group consolidation processes. A complete analysis of financial result including payroll accounting, various accounts reconciliations, and cash management. They will participate in the SAP implementation project. The Financial Analyst will assess and monitor organizational performance against budget, run variance analysis (budget vs. actual) and provide insights to support management decision making. The Financial Analyst will also work on redesigning some accounting tasks to make them leaner and save time with the final objective to reduce the monthly closing lead time and will conduct continuous improvement actions with strategic planning and analysis to restructure and automate the finance department processes. Job Requirements REQUIREMENTS Education: Minimum of 2 years of working experience in accounting and controlling, with a Master's degree in Finance or related field. Required Skills/Knowledge: Ability to provide close attention to detail; Self-starter/entrepreneurial; able to work well without constant direction; Strong analytical skills in financial modeling and proficient in Excel; Excellent teamwork, interpersonal and presentation skills; Ability to adapt quickly and learn new tasks independently; Fluent in English, French or Spanish is a plus. Competencies: Capacity to work in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment with multiple concurrent assignments, in an International Group; Work and communicate effectively at all organizational levels and across functional areas; Display initiatives and creativity in identifying and solving problems. #J-18808-Ljbffr
