Contract Closeout Specialist

Description
SAIC's Business Enablement Operations team is seeking a Contract Closeout Specialist. The selected candidate will perform a variety of activities in support of contract closeout.
This position is 100% remote nationwide.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Complete closeout of contracts issued by SAIC/acquisition as assigned.
Prepare final and interim invoices which require access to multiple SAIC systems, both current and legacy, to obtain billing reports and backup.
Interface with various functional areas inside SAIC.
Interface with various customers outside SAIC.
Be cognizant of department goals and deadlines and track personal closeout statistics to accomplish stated goals.
Work multiple projects simultaneously and adjust quickly to emerging priorities on short notice.
Qualifications
Required Education and Qualifications:
High School and two (2) years or more related experience. A higher level degree and one (1) year of related experience may also be considered.
US Citizenship is required
Proficiency with MS Office Suite, especially Microsoft Excel, is required.
Must have strong attention-to-detail and follow-through.
Ability to work independently and collaborate successfully as part of a diverse team in a dynamic and deadline-driven environment.
Excellent communication, and the ability to build relationships with excellent interpersonal skills.
Ability to take outstanding initiative
Aggressive problem-solving and task management skills
Ability to encourage, inspire and participate in teamwork.
Desired Qualifications:
Prior Government contract experience, including familiarity with FAR and DFAR, is highly preferred.
Contracts or procurement experience desired.
Clear understanding of all contract types and possess the ability to read and interpret contractual documents.
SAIC accepts applications on an ongoing basis and there is no deadline.
