Are you ready to take on the mantle of safeguarding our client's digital fortress? We're on the lookout for a seasoned Senior Information System Security Officer to stand guard over our client's systems and infrastructure. As the protector of digital domains, you'll be instrumental in fortifying defenses, marshaling resources, and orchestrating security strategies that stand the test of time.

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelor's degree with 2 years of relevant experience; certifications preferred
  • 8+ years of experience in information security management
  • Proficiency in NIST Risk Management Framework, NIST Cybersecurity Framework, and Texas Information Security Standards
  • 4+ years of experience working with critical timelines
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience in conducting and documenting risk assessments.

DUTIES:
  • Assist with implementing and managing the Organization's Secure System Development Lifecycle processes
  • Coordinate the implementation of system security plans with agency personnel and external vendors
  • Advise management and users on security configurations and procedures
  • Develop plans to safeguard information systems and contribute to disaster recovery and business continuity planning
  • Conduct technical risk assessments and review new and existing applications and systems for security vulnerabilities
  • Research, evaluate, and recommend systems and procedures for data security breach prevention and containment
