Job Title: Senior Staff Engineer - Mechanical Design (Frames Leader) ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Lead the design and analysis of cold frame structures using sound engineering principles and adhering to business standards, practices, procedures, and program requirements. Provide technical guidance that influences outcomes to other people supporting complex tasks; mentor others in the organization. Assure proper documentation of technical data generated for the assigned hardware consistent with engineering policies and procedures. Develop action plans, with guidance, to respond to issues/problems. Recommend the approach to meet the technical and program requirements. Participate as a presenter or reviewer in technical and program reviews with internal and external customers. QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS Bachelor of Science in Engineering from an accredited university or college. At least 10 years of experience in a Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering position. At least 5 years of experience designing, analyzing, and integrating significant structural components. At least 3 years of experience leading a technical team. DESIRED CHARACTERISTICS Passion for the aviation industry and advancing the state-of-the-art. Strong communication and collaboration skills in-person and with global teams. History of building an inclusive culture. Effective problem identification and solution skills. Ability to lead and influence teams without direct reporting.
