Practice Support Specialist

Marathon Health is seeking a full-time Practice Support Specialist (PSS) to work collaboratively with our clinical team in Charlotte, NC supporting our patients from their near-site employer-sponsored health and wellness center.

Responsibilities:
  • Schedule and confirm patient appointments, check-ups and physician referrals
  • Answer telephones and direct calls to appropriate staff
  • Greet visitors, assess purpose of visit, and direct them to appropriate staff
  • Compile and record medical charts, reports, and correspondence
  • Ensure patient completes Privacy forms
  • Check patients in and out
  • Collect co-pays
Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 2 years of front desk experience in a medical setting required
  • Electronic Medical Record (EMR) experience required
  • Attention to detail, ability to communicate effectively with patients and strong computer skills required
  • You should want to work in an environment where health education and outreach is important to you and challenges you to make a difference
  • A commitment to living by our Ambassadors Code values of integrity, compassion, respect, exceptional service, and teamwork
