Key Responsibilities
- Welcome patients and collect essential contact and insurance information
- Handle incoming calls, address patient inquiries, and relay messages
- Process insurance documentation and communicate with insurance companies regarding coverage queries
- Arrange initial and follow-up appointments
- Prepare examination rooms and ensure necessary supplies are available
- Assist during medical procedures and examinations
- Measure and document patient vital signs
- Administer immunizations
- Provide education to patients and their families about health issues, treatments, and medications
Qualifications
- Associate degree in a healthcare-related field (preferred)
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a healthcare setting or hospital
- Familiarity with medical terminology
- Exceptional communication and organizational skills
