Key Responsibilities

  • Welcome patients and collect essential contact and insurance information
  • Handle incoming calls, address patient inquiries, and relay messages
  • Process insurance documentation and communicate with insurance companies regarding coverage queries
  • Arrange initial and follow-up appointments
  • Prepare examination rooms and ensure necessary supplies are available
  • Assist during medical procedures and examinations
  • Measure and document patient vital signs
  • Administer immunizations
  • Provide education to patients and their families about health issues, treatments, and medications

Qualifications

  • Associate degree in a healthcare-related field (preferred)
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a healthcare setting or hospital
  • Familiarity with medical terminology
  • Exceptional communication and organizational skills
