Overview:

The Digital Marketing Strategist responsibilities include the execution of digital marketing campaigns including social media, websites, and digital advertising. Experience in general digital marketing best practices and how to implement marketing efforts in the digital landscape is a key requirement. This position reports directly to the Marketing Manager and works closely with department specialists. Ideal candidates for this role should be creative and innovative, multimedia savvy, well-organized, and must be excellent writers and communicators.

Blanchard Machinery sells, rents, and services Cat and other allied brands of construction and power equipment across South Carolina. Our customers engage in a variety of activities ranging from landscaping and agriculture to road construction and power generation. Responsibilities:
  • Full responsibility for blanchardmachinery.com and other supporting websites
  • Accountable for PPC, SEO and Local Search
  • Maintaining working relations with agency partners
  • Refine digital executions based on data to optimize spend and performance.
  • Ensure adherence to brand guidelines.
  • Manage email marketing campaigns including setup, distribution, and post-campaign reporting.
  • Manage content calendars and ensure that the content remains consistent across all platforms.
  • Work in collaboration with Marketing department and partners to create dashboards or reports highlighting Blanchards online marketing initiatives.
  • Analyze digital marketing KPIs against strategic plan.
  • Monitor online competition presence and abilities.
  • Managing the corporate photo library
  • Aid with other various marketing endeavors as needed.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelors degree in marketing, Advertising, or equivalent is desired.
  • 3+ years marketing experience
  • Unwavering commitment to working safely.
  • Social media savvy with keen interest in web technology and digital marketing
  • Experience in using A/B testing to improve performance.
  • Educated in SEO, Google Analytics and Google AdWords
  • Strong copywriting and copy-editing skills and experience with writing web content
  • Skilled in WordPress and Salesforce Marketing Cloud preferred.
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail
  • Team player who is willing to work outside of designated job duties as required.
  • Ability to work independently.

Working Conditions

  • The physical environment requires the employee to work inside throughout the year.
  • Moderate travel and after hour events required.
  • Job requires standing, stooping, squatting, pushing, pulling, twisting, turning, lifting.
  • Seeing, reading, writing and physical presence at the job location are required to complete job responsibilities.
  • Use of computer and other forms of technology to complete job responsibilities.
