Primary Responsibilities:
Participates in recruitment, interviewing, hiring, and onboarding of all Vistas and Tides program associates
Oversees recruitment gateway for Vistas and Tides associates
Familiar with, and follows the resident care associate onboarding standards
Supervises all Vistas and Tides care associates
Monitors all Vistas and Tides associates assigned care tasks
Updates communication logs and contact information
Conducts monthly checks and weights
Supports payroll with reviewing timesheets and entering missed punches forms/vacation requests
Performs scheduling, counseling, and reviews for all care associates
Ensures program compliance with regulations and company standards
Collaborates effectively with department heads and maintains professional relationships
Provides ongoing communication to management regarding staffing
Manages supplies and coordinates services for residents
Participates in service planning and documentation
Provides coaching, mentoring, and training
Ensures staff training requirements are met
Plans and implements recreational programs
Manages budgetary guidelines
Coordinates events and programs
Assists with resident care and nutrition
Provides family education and communication
Education/Experience/Licensure/Certification:
Degree in social work, nursing, psychology, gerontology, or related field preferred
Minimum two (2) years' experience in senior living environment
Passion for working with seniors
Understanding of dementia-related diseases
Excellent communication, organization, and time management skills
Computer knowledge and scheduling abilities
Passion for working with seniors
Effective management skills
