Job Description:

  • Salesforce Data Analyst Consultant, in this role, you will be responsible for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data to provide valuable insights for the insurance industry.
  • Your primary responsibilities will include data cleaning, analysis, and visualization, as well as risk assessment and data quality assurance.
  • Collaboration with cross-functional teams will be crucial as you work to derive actionable insights from data.
  • Additionally, you will assist with application-level support for data cleansing, deduping, and maintaining data hygiene within Salesforce.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide application-level support for data cleansing, deduping, and maintaining data hygiene within Salesforce.
  • Implement and enforce data quality standards to ensure accuracy and consistency.
  • Perform regular data validation checks / create "exception reports" to address any discrepancies in audit. Collaborate with stakeholders to define and maintain data governance practices.
  • Collect, clean, and analyze data from various sources to identify trends, patterns, and insights relevant to the insurance industry.
  • Assist in evaluating risk factors by analyzing historical data and industry trends.
  • Ensure the accuracy and integrity of data by conducting regular audits and implementing quality control measures.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to support data-driven decision-making.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in data science, computer science or related field.
  • Previous experience in Salesforce Data Analytics roles, with a minimum of 2-3 years' experience preferred.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel, SQL, and Python/R, or a willingness to learn.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Effective communication skills with the ability to present complex data findings in a clear and understandable manner.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

Certification:

  • Salesforce Administrator (Desired)
  • Salesforce Business Analyst (Preferred)
  • Salesforce Data Cloud (Optional)
