You are:

You are a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Database Analyst with a strong background in Salesforce and a passion for optimizing complex systems. With a deep understanding of database architecture and a proven ability to translate business needs into effective solutions, you excel in fast-paced, matrixed environments.

How you will make an impact:

You will play a pivotal role in analyzing, designing, and implementing solutions that optimize HR processes and improve decision-making for the US Army Human Resources Command. With an exceptional eye for detail, you’ll work closely across various lines of business to understand the objectives of the organization and prioritize any requirements.

Responsibilities:

  • Analyze, design, and implement database solutions that optimize HR processes and enhance decision-making for the US Army Human Resources Command (HRC)
  • Develop custom Salesforce applications, including custom objects, formula fields, processes, and workflows, to meet organizational needs
  • Collaborate with various business units to understand and prioritize requirements, ensuring alignment with organizational goals
  • Maintain and optimize Salesforce GovCloud environments, ensuring data security and compliance with government standards
  • Manage data integration and migration projects, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in data handling
  • Monitor and troubleshoot database performance issues, implementing solutions to improve system efficiency and reliability
  • Document complex processes and system configurations, providing clear and comprehensive technical documentation
  • Stay updated on Salesforce best practices, functionality, and emerging technologies, applying this knowledge to enhance system performance
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on Salesforce platform capabilities, guiding teams in the effective use of the system
  • Lead or participate in SCRUM or Agile development processes, contributing to continuous improvement and iterative development

The team:

Lawelawe Defense Inc ("LDI") is an SBA Certified 8(a) Native Hawaiian Owned (NHO) SDB Lawelawe Defense offers an outstanding record of delivery on various projects encompassing: Program and Portfolio Management; Systems Engineering and Architecture; Network Engineering and Operations; Data Center Optimization and Operations; Desktop/Server and Application Virtualization. 

Here's what you need:

  • Minimum of 10+ years of experience as a database analyst or equivalent in a matrixed, fast-paced environment, with a Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field; or a Bachelors with 15+ years of relevant experience.
  • Salesforce Admin certification required
  • A documented history of successful project completion.
  • A demonstrated ability to understand and articulate complex processes.
  • Strong Salesforce interest and ability to quickly master new technology
  • Strong understanding of the Salesforce platform, with the ability to build custom apps and objects formula fields, processes, custom views, and other content of intermediate complexity preferred
  • Familiarity with Salesforce GovCloud environments
  • Active Secret Clearance required
  • Must be a US Citizen 

Bonus points if:

  • Strong understanding of Salesforce best practices and functionality
  • Minimum two years of experience as a Salesforce administrator
  • Previous CRM administration (Salesforce/MS Dynamics) experience
  • Previous experience working in a SCRUM or agile environment
  • Prior experience with Army systems and applications
