The main responsibility of an Account Executive is developing business relationships with current and new Digilock customers. This position will support current Digilock customers and identify and upsell clients in assigned territories. The focus of the Account Executive is to handle any big-picture issues a Digilock client faces and act as a link between the company and clients to ensure all the clients needs are being met. Much of the pipeline for this role will be in the Commercial Furniture sector.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop relationships with mid-sized to large clients to increase revenue.
  • Pursue relationships with potential new accounts and seek business expansion opportunities with current clients.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned accounts, addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring client satisfaction.
  • Stay current on Digilock products and services being offered and ensure that they consistently meet client needs.
  • Support senior account managers working with larger accounts.
  • Visit client locations periodically to ensure client satisfaction and promote ongoing contract renewal.
  • Produce and provide sales quotations and respond to requests for proposals.
  • Communicate with clients to ensure their needs are understood and addressed.
  • Build strong client relationships to maintain old business and acquire new customers.
  • Collaborate with various internal departments to ensure they fulfill all customer requests.
  • Resolve complaints and track all processes pertaining to the clients desires.
  • Maintain accurate records of client interactions and sales activities in Salesforce and provide regular updates to leadership.
  • Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms to secure deals.

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years experience in the Commercial Furniture sector
  • Satisfactory problem-solving skills to help resolve customer complaints or needs.
  • Up-to-date understanding of the industrys consumer behavior.
  • Strong customer service and interpersonal skills for dealing with different types of customers and clients.
  • Exceptional analytical skills for analyzing client data.
  • Time management and multitasking skills to handle multiple tasks and clients at once.
  • Advanced motivational and negotiation skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software applications.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in all work tasks.

Software:

Salesforce, Syspro (ERP), Microsoft Office Suite, and HubSpot.

This role is 100% onsite in Grand Rapids, MI. Please, no out of the area resumes.
