Sales Analyst

  • Conduct in-depth market research to identify emerging trends, competitive landscapes, and potential opportunities for growth. Analyze market data, customer insights, and industry reports to inform strategic decision-making.
  • Conduct comprehensive analysis of sales data to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for growth. Develop and maintain regular sales reports, dashboards, and performance metrics to track key sales indicators. Provide actionable insights to the sales team and senior management to support strategic decision-making.
  • Create compelling sales presentations and pitches for potential clients, partners, and investors. Tailor messaging and content to effectively communicate the companys value proposition, differentiation, and competitive advantages.
  • Oversee the end-to-end process of purchase order management, ensuring accuracy and efficiency. Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely processing and fulfillment of sales orders. Monitor and resolve any issues related to purchase orders, including discrepancies and delays.
  • Collaborate with commercial leadership to develop and refine GTM strategies and objectives. Translate market insights from SPINS and other data sources into actionable plans that support revenue growth, market expansion, and competitive advantage.
  • Work in partnership with commercial leadership and finance to set trade plans and reconcile spend to ensure in-line with budgets.
  • Analyze financial data, evaluate pricing strategies, profitability analysis, and cost structures to optimize revenue generation and margin improvement opportunities.
  • Forecast customer demand as part of S&OP process to help support production decisions and predict sales trends
  • Work closely with commercial, R&D, operations, and other departments to align business efforts with overall company objectives. Collaborate on go-to-market strategies, product positioning, and customer acquisition tactics.

Job Requirements/Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or related field
  • NetSuite (reporting/dashboards/extracting data)
  • Power tools (PowerBI)
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in sales analysis, preferably in the food manufacturing industry
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in financial modeling, data analysis, and market research.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strategic mindset with the ability to think creatively, anticipate market trends, and identify growth opportunities.
  • Proven track record of driving business results and executing successful business development initiatives.
  • Strong team player with a collaborative mindset and the ability to work effectively across cross-functional teams.

Manufacturing experience a plus
