Summary of Position Role/Responsibilities The Financial Analyst II will be responsible for developing and improving all fiscal related processes and business models that affect budgets and company disbursements. This role will assist in budget and forecast preparation, conduct analysis, risk evaluation, modeling, reviewing, and reporting fiduciary policies and guidelines throughout the company. The Financial Analyst II will work directly with the senior and executive management team, as well as other internal departments, to increase the company’s efficiency, profitability, and scalability. This position will develop analysis around key business operations, assess project ROI, capital purchases and be a key player in the budget and forecasting process for the company. Essential Functions of the Job Assist with the existing budget model and provide recommendations for improved, detailed budgeting, understanding the current budget model and source of data used for modeling. Coordinate with internal departments and interact with senior management to collect and extensively analyze data to prepare analysis reports. Support the development of budget and forecasts, including preparation and maintenance. Partner with team members to better understand the financial operations of the business and assist in building a highly scalable business model. Develop efficient reports using analytical tools for better projecting financial performance. Coordinate with internal departments to design analytical tools by understanding the processes produced by their systems to develop reports that may be complementary. Analyze and submit key metrics required by senior management. Prepare various driver-based plans and provide analytical support to leaders. Coordinate with senior leadership to make recommendations of enhanced financial reporting that will assist in making strong, timely changes to the business resulting in optimal profit. Keep up to date with compliance regulations, federal laws, and other policies. Develop pro forma financial projections with assumptions for any potential M&A transactions. Compile and analyze financial information with an emphasis on payment analysis reviews for service lines to ensure payment results meet expectations. Collaborate with the team to analyze HCP breaches, including timing, cost, and reporting to senior management. Investigate DSO, at risk clients, payment trends and prepare escalated reviews for client credit requests. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual reports, including commentary on variances. Access and interpret appropriate financial data for purposes of identifying financial performance improvement opportunities (cost savings and revenue enhancement opportunities). Marginal Functions of the Job Other duties as assigned. Normal Work Schedule This is a full-time position. Standard business hours are Monday through Friday 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Additional time outside of these hours may be needed to complete the essential functions of the job. Education, Training, and Experience Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, finance, or related field required or equivalent combination of education and experience. Minimum of 3 years required related experience in finance and/or accounting experience with emphasis in financial analyses. Healthcare experience and/or Staffing experience preferred. Experience using Adaptive, Sage Intact, Concur, Workday, Sales Force, MS Dynamics, UKG Pro, and/or ADP. Advanced knowledge of PowerBI experience, including Tableau, Adaptive highly preferred. Strong organizational and analytical skills with the ability to multitask multiple priorities simultaneously, while adhering to strict deadlines. Exceptional written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills. Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information. Ability to work in a team environment, fostering positive relationships with team members and managers. Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Office). Required Licenses, Certifications, and Other Specific Requirements of Law Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) certification and ability to obtain and maintain.
