The Team Leader Assembly is responsible for providing direction on the shop floor to the production assemblers to meet the daily output targets. The team leader is responsible for training the assembly processes, ensuring all assemblers can meet the quality standard. Main Responsibilities Executes the production plan through directing a team of production assemblers. Accountable for meeting daily / weekly production output. Drives a safety-first culture within the team and lead by example. Facilitates training for the production assembly team, provides supervision and guidance to production assemblers as required. Communicates progress updates and manages troubleshooting across teams and functional areas. Maintains an organized work area (6S) to include workstations, equipment & walkways. Participates and contributes in continuous improvement projects to drive efficiency. Maintains a positive team moral with an open atmosphere of teamwork and cooperation. Acts as the subject expert for assembly processes. Maintains punctual, regular and predictable attendance; works collaboratively in a team environment with a spirit of cooperation. Respectfully takes direction from the Cell Leader and other duties as assigned. Qualifications High School diploma minimum, Associate degree is a benefit. 1-3 years assembly experience required.
